About The Designer Latoya's Loft is aptly named for the artist and designer Latoya Bullard, whose creations are displayed throughout this website. A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Latoya was born into a family with many creative and artistic gifts and learned early to appreciate the Fine Arts. All throughout her school years, Art and Design played an important role in her education and development, although she never fully pursued a career in this field until much later. It was only recently that she included jewelry design to her repertoire,which includes graphic design and canvas painting. A new passion developed under her own self-teaching and has become the main focus of her career. Using her unique creativity and desire for outward expression, all of her jewelry pieces can be called works of art.
